MDIS Tuition Services also offers free home tuition matching services for Primary and Secondary students. We are committed to helping students and parents find the most suitable tutor.

You can be assured of the professional quality of our pool of tutors as all our tutors undergo a stringent selection process. It is a pre-requisite for all our tutors to go through National Institute of Education (NIE) training.

FAQs for Parents

Do I have to pay MDIS Tuition Services to find a private tutor for my child?
No, you do not have to pay a fee. Registration for the home tuition matching services is free of charge.
What are the qualifications of the tutors?
It is a pre-requisite for all our tutors to go through National Institute of Education (NIE) training. Therefore, all our tutors are either NIE trainees or current school teachers.
How do I verify the qualification of my tutor?
MDIS Tuition Services checks through our tutors qualifications stringently before registering them for this programme. Parents can request the tutors to make a photocopy of their certificates for your verification on the first lesson.
How do I request for a tutor?
You may call us at 6796 7781 / 6796 7780 / 6796 7779 or email tsd@mdis.edu.sg to request for a tutor.
How many lessons are required in a week?
Our tutors will do an assessment on your child to determine how many lessons are required a week. Lessons are 1.5 hours each.
What is the arrangement with regard to payment?
All payments will be made to MDIS Corporation Pte Ltd directly. You may pay via internet banking or cheque. For internet banking, kindly transfer the tuition fee to DBS Current Account
006-900897-0. For cheque payment, kindly issue the cheque to “MDIS Corporation Pte Ltd” and write the name, contact number, I/C number of your child on the back of the cheque and mail it to 501 Stirling Road Singapore 148951. Payments have to be made on a monthly basis. Should there be any outstanding payments, we will not dispatch the tutor for lesson.
What if I wish to have the tutor changed after the first lesson?
MDIS Tuition Services would like to know in what ways were the arrangements unsatisfactory and we will make a change for you. However, you are required to pay our tutor one lesson worth of fees and we will match another tutor to your child.
