General Information
- Where will the classes be conducted?
Classes will be conducted at the MDIS Campus. - What are the operating hours at the Campus?
Monday – Friday 8.30am – 7.30pm
Saturday 8.30am – 1.00pm
We are closed on Sundays and public holidays. - Are the programmes conducted by MDIS College registered with the Ministry of Education (MOE)?
All programmes conducted by MDIS College are registered with the MOE. - Will I be able to defer NS?
MDIS College will help students apply for NS deferment. If you are not 18 years old yet, you will be eligible for NS deferment.

MDIS College is a wholly owned subsidiary of MDIS. MDIS is governed and managed by an elected governing council who are volunteers. There is a management team that handles the operations of the Institute.
- Who owns MDIS?
Our members own MDIS. All students are required to register as a member of MDIS. - What is the meaning that MDIS is a “not for profit” Organisation?
Fundamentally, this means that optimum surpluses or profits MDIS earn will be ploughed back into the Institute to contribute towards enhancing our facilities, providing quality education and community service.
All surplus are retained in MDIS and used for improving infrastructure, community
projects and upgrading and improvement purposes. - Where can students go when they are in financial difficulties?
MDIS College has a strategic alliance with Telecom Credit Cooperative (TCC) which is a not-for-profit financial institution that provides our students with preferential loan rates. Login to https://tcc.org.sg/index1.htm or call 6319 3700 for more details.
- If I cannot attend or complete my course, is there any refund?
All application, registration and other relevant fees paid to MDIS College are non-refundable. Subject to any other terms and conditions contained in MDIS College confirmation letter to you, you are also bound by the following terms and conditions:
Percentage of refund
% of aggregate amount of the fees paid as per MDIS-Student Contract If a Student's written notice of withdrawal is received 75% ("Maximum refund") More than 60 days before the Course Commencement Date 25% Before, but not more than 60 days before the Course Commencement Date 10% After, but not more than 7 days after the Course Commencement Date 5% More than 7 days after the Course Commencement Date, but not more than 14 days after the Course Commencement Date 0% More than 14 days after the Course Commencement Date
A cooling-off period of seven (7) days is applicable for a maximum refund. You can receive maximum refund state in clause 2.4 of your contract if you withdraw from the course within 7 days after signing of the contract.
Non-tuition Fee:
In the event that the Student withdraws from the course, the application / registration fees, membership entrance fees, medical insurance premium, Students’ Protection Insurance Premiums and all other non-tuition fees, wherever applicable is not refundable.
In the event where a student is applying for a study loan, the registration fees where applicable must be paid PRIOR to the application of the loan.
- If I could not attend one of the lessons, is there any replacement?
There is no replacement of lesson. However, we would encourage our students to make appointment with our teachers and to sit in earlier for the next coming tutorial class to go through the tutorial that they have missed. In addition, during break time, they could approach our trainers for any clarification

- Are there any parking facilities available at the Campus?
Parking facilities are available for students and visitors. The charges are as follows:
Monday to Friday (0700hrs to 1759hrs) : $0.60 per half hour or part thereof. Monday to Friday (1800hrs to 2359hrs) : $3.20 per entry Saturday (0700hrs to 1300hrs) : $0.60 per half hour or part thereof. Saturday (1300hrs to 2359hrs) : $3.20 per entry Sunday and Public Holiday : Closed
($3.20 per entry if opened for class/activity)Motorcycle : $1.00 per entry Grace Period : 10 minutes at initial entry Lost of Cashcard : $25.00 Season Parking : $65 (before GST) per lot per month

- Is there any shuttle service between the MRT station and the Campus?
There will be a shuttle service between Queenstown MRT Station at intervals of 10 minutes. The pick-up point is from the bus-stop opposite the Queenstown Neighbourhood Police Centre.
This is a complimentary service for our students.

BookShop / Brainwaves
- Is there any bookshop at the Campus?
Our Bookshop is located at Blk B, Level 1 at the Campus. - Where can I purchase my course materials and assessment books?
You will be given the course materials during the first week of lessons. We will arrange for the Book Vendor to deliver the recommended assessment books to College for ease of purchase. Alternatively, you may choose to get them from most of the bookshops in Singapore.
Resource HUB (Library)
- Is there any Library at the Campus?
The MDIS Resource Hub (Library) is opened to all MDIS members, which are located at the Block C, Level 4 at the Unicampus - What are the Opening hours for Resource HUB (library)?
Monday to Friday 8.30am – 8.00pm Saturdays 8.30am – 3.00pm Sundays & Public Holidays Closed
Members must produce their valid MDIS membership card when visiting or borrowing materials from the Library.
